Wrapping a special project
Everyone has a story about their High School. Ironically I was the student who knew in 9th grade all I wanted to do was to produce television, so I had one purpose in school, to get the heck out of the there as fast as I could so I could begin to chase my dream. So it is ironic that my dream would cross paths again with the school the I was so anxious to get out of. Elida High School is almost 100 years old, and like so many communities with schools that old, they are tearing down the well used building for a brand new shiny new one. Today I leave for my last interiors shots and interviews for a project that Ondo Media has been proud to document. After the school is gone this documentary will tell the story of what life was like in this building that had no A/C, no phones, not even TV's in most of the classrooms. But despite that amazing people were carved out of that building, just like every school in our country. Change is part of our lives as Americans. We adapt and learn from our past. That will be the story of this documentary. If you have a school or a piece of your history you like it's story documented, give me a call. Telling stories is what I do.
